Cowork + Google Drive: Find the Doc You Half-Remember
Drive search is bad. Vibes-based retrieval is good.
You know the doc exists. Someone shared it in March: a pricing model, or maybe a planning memo, with the new tiers in it. You open Drive and type "pricing." You get forty results: a slide deck called Pricing v2 FINAL, a folder named Pricing, three things titled Untitled spreadsheet, and a contract that happens to mention price once.
The one you want isn't named "pricing" at all. It's called Q2 Planning: Notes and you'll never guess that, so you scroll, give up, and ask a colleague to re-send the link.
Drive search wasn't broken. It did exactly what it does: match the letters you typed against the names and text of your files. The problem is that you didn't remember the letters. You remembered the gist.
That gap (between what you recall and what you can type) is the whole reason this connector earns its place.
