Terms for Using Cowork
These terms describe the practical expectations for using this site. The course is free to read where public, and accounts exist to unlock gated lessons and keep personal read state.
Course content
The articles are provided for learning and general information. They are not a promise that any tool, workflow, or business result will work the same way in every organization.
You may link to public pages and use the ideas in your own work. Do not copy or redistribute the site as a competing publication or remove attribution from published material.
Account data
Some lessons require a free account. Keep your sign-in method under your control and use accurate account information. If you use a shared or compromised email account, access to Using Cowork may be affected.
Essential account email is sent for sign-in, verification, password reset, and account changes. These messages are part of operating your account.
The site may also send an optional newsletter and product updates. These are separate from account email: you can turn them on or off from the email preferences in your account settings, or unsubscribe from the link in any such message, and we honor that choice promptly. Where local law requires it, we send them only with your prior consent.
Progress data
Read-state features are provided to help you keep your place in the course. Progress data can change if you mark or unmark an article, delete your account, or if the site changes how course progress is represented.
Acceptable use
Do not abuse the sign-in, magic-link, or account deletion flows. Automated or high-volume requests may be rate limited, rejected through Cloudflare Turnstile, or blocked to protect the service.
Do not attempt to access another reader's account, interfere with the site, or use the service in a way that creates operational or security risk.
Analytics and service measurement
The site may use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand broad traffic patterns, page-level usage, and performance. Those measurements help maintain the course and decide what needs clearer writing or better navigation.
Account deletion
You can delete your account from account settings. Deletion removes the account from normal use and is intended to remove site-owned progress data connected to that account.
Changes and availability
The site may change as the course and account features mature. Pages may move, features may be adjusted, and availability is not guaranteed.
